PRODUCTS DESCRIPTION
The Lamp Socket Switch Module is a 100 W receiver unit. It works in conjunction with any X10 controller. The LM15 is a Lamp Socket that you can screw or plug into your light socket. The socket can also be used for low-energy light bulbs.
The LM15 does not have a dial to set up the House Code and Unit Code. The codes for the socket can be programmed with a X10 Remote Control and Transceiver TM12 or a controller such as the IR7243. It will adopt the first address it receives through the mains as its House Code and Unit Code even (There is an E2 ROM that stores the House and Unit Code even when the power is cut).
The LM15 socket is controlled remotely using X-10 signals sent via the mains and responds to the X-10 Commands On/Off and All Lights On, All Units Off.
The lamp concerned can still be controlled locally by its own switch, but do not forget to leave the local switch in the On position, otherwise the lamp cannot be controlled by an X10 controller. Switch the lamp Off by remote control.
